READ BEFORE TAKING THE SURVEYS

As part of our Organize 2026 vision, we are asking every member of our church family to complete both the Church Health Assessment and the Spiritual Gifts Inventory. For this process to truly work, we need broad participation. Every voice matters, and every response helps us listen more clearly and lead more faithfully.

Each survey should be completed one time per person and in one uninterrupted sitting. While they are longer and will take about 20 minutes each, this is an important investment in the future of our church. These assessments help us understand where we are, where God is calling us, and how each member can be connected to meaningful service.

Once you have completed both surveys, please notify your Grow Group leader. Your participation helps your Grow Group’s overall completion rate and brings your group one step closer to winning our participation challenge. Church Health Assessment

The John Wesley Church Health Assessment is a church-wide survey designed to help our leadership listen well, reflect prayerfully, and move forward with wisdom, clarity, and unity. This assessment is not an evaluation of individuals. It is a listening tool that helps us understand your experience, identify areas of strength, and recognize where we may need growth as we follow God’s direction together.

Before you begin, we ask everyone to complete the 91 question survey prayerfully and thoughtfully. Please plan to take it in one uninterrupted sitting with a stable internet connection, and answer honestly based on your personal experience. To protect the integrity of the process, please keep your responses confidential, do not take the survey more than once, and do not discuss survey questions or answers while the survey is active.

Spiritual Gifts Inventory

The Spiritual Gifts Inventory is a helpful tool to discern how God has uniquely gifted you for Christian ministry. While there are many spiritual gifts, this assessment focuses on nine practical, team and task-oriented gifts that show up in everyday life and in the work of the church.
Most believers have a dominant gift, and many have more than one. This survey is designed to help you identify those gifts so you can develop them, strengthen them, and use them with confidence in your daily life and in your local church.

You’ll respond to 108 statements based on your own feelings and desires. It’s a self-evaluation, so there are no right or wrong answers. After you complete it, you’ll receive a clear results summary, including a bar graph of your scores, descriptions of your strongest gifts, and personal analysis. You can also print your results.
