Scenario 3
SCENARIO 3 w/ Angela D.
The situation: There's a person you've been waiting on. What they did was real and it cost you. They've never said sorry — not once. Maybe they don't think they did anything. Maybe they can't face it. Maybe they're not here to say it. And you've been waiting on that apology before you could put it down.
Pick one:
A. Forgive them anyway. Tonight. Without them.
B. Wait until you feel it. Forgiving before you mean it is pretending.
C. They have to repent first (Luke 17:3). You can release the bitterness without calling it forgiveness.
Talk about it:
1. Which one is right — and which one have you actually been living in?
2. What has the waiting cost you? Not what they cost you. The waiting.
